Neighborhood

This is a large lot meadow neighborhood that is mostly non-vacation rental properties, though many second homes. It is very quiet (and our guests are required to maintain this ambiance) for your mountain enjoyment. Several times a week, a heard of elk or deer will wonder through (maybe lingering at your car door when you want to get in it)! Fox, coyote, bobcats, all kinds of mountain birds, bunnies, badgers and other wildlife scamper around the property on their own schedule.

Guest Access

Guests will have access to the home, including Kitchen, Family and Dining Area, with Half Bath and Laundry Access (New Washer and Dryer) Master Bedroom and Bath, two additional Bedrooms with additional Bath. Guests will have access to garage ONLY for purposes of trash disposal, NOT parking and NO access to any contents in the garage.

Fantastic location! Spotless home with super comfortable beds and a great floorplan. The kitchen had everything we needed for when we wanted to eat in (grateful for a Crock pot!), and the town had excellent restaurants for when we wanted to eat out. We loved the outdoor deck! Hosts were quick to respond, and communicated expectations clearly. We had a great time and will happily stay here again when we are in town!

Our family of 4 had a wonderful winter get away at this lovely home. The home was very clean and had everything we needed. The location was about 8 minutes to town but we liked being just outside of the town where it was peaceful and the scenery was beautiful. We saw deer from the dining room window! We also saw turkeys and a lot of elk nearby. The location is perfect for getting to RMNP and winter here provided us with some lovely hikes, including one that was just a few blocks from the house. We would definitely stay here again!

Stayed for just two nights and wished we would have stayed a bit longer. Home was great, comfortable, offered coffee, huge plus. Location was perfect. I was very happy with our choice. I will be back.

Generally, private vehicles is the mode of transport, but during summer months there is a shuttle with a stop under a quarter mile away that will take you to RMNP and town - see Estes dot org town website for shuttle schedule and routes. Another good site is searchable with words visit estes park. If you are driving, there is a brand new Parking Structure at the Visitor Center on the US 36 side (just take Peak View, Left at 7, left at 36, its on the right - before you hit the 34/36 intersection. Best Place to park, no jam up, and there is an awesome river walk (3 minute walk to get into Downtown). Plus, stop in the visitor center and enjoy the Big Thompson River :) Lots of fun musical instruments to play along the walk and fun attractions on the River Walk :)
